Good Morning Researchers,

There is a William Crisp, b. ca 1695-1700 that lived in these counties, or
the same place, but the counties changed. This William Crisp had 18 children,
with 2 wifes, 1st wife, name unknown, perhaps a Mancil, 2nd wife a Frances ?.
There are a few records that a WIlliam Crisp in involved with. The 1783 date
is established by a will in which he names his 18 children.

I have reason to believe William 1700-1783, may be the grandfather of my ggg
grandfather, Moses Prescott Crisp. Of the sons of William, I have not found
information as to the children of William, Jr, b. ca 1727 Edgecombe, Ezekiel
b. ca 1751 and Jesse b. ca 1760, Ezekiel and Jesse being sons of wife #2.

Moses Prescott was b. ca 1765-70, making the possibility of his father
William, 1727 or Ezekiel 1751. (Note: These dates are only estimated) Another
reason for thinking perhaps William or Ezekiel is his father, is Moses named
sons, William and Ezekiel and another son Mansil.

Any suggestions, input, theories to follow up on, are most welcome.

Thanks.
