I am having the exact problem with my HOLLYMAN/HOLLOMAN family line from
Bertie/Hertford as you.

My HOLLOMAN ancestor (Wm Holloman b ca 1774) left Bertie in ca 1804 and
settled in KY. I cannot, however connect him to any of the many HOLLOMANS
from Bertie/Hertford ..or to the Christopher HOLLYMAN, who came to Bertie ca
1728 and purchased land from James EARLEY. There are other Holloman/Earley
connections....in fact some Earleys went to KY at the same time as did Wm
Holloman.
I would greatly appreciate any and all info on this family.
