I can't agree with you more. Anytime a researcher receives information from
another researcher, there should always be a note made as to the "source" of
that data. Of course, you will always run into those who use data without a
source at all, just to fertilize their tree.

Sources are the name of the game when it comes to genealogy, for without
them, we are dealing in fiction, not fact and family history.
