I have the same names in my line. I have Jesse Bryant Lassiter b-1861, Hertford County, d-27Jan1919. Dolly Francis Peele b-10 Jul 1864, Northampton County, d-11 Dec 1918. There marriage date is 29 Oct 1884. I would love to share information. Not sure about the Cherokee blood but family stories said that my great grandmother was full blooded indian. Her name was Pearl Lassiter and was one of Jesse and Dolly's children. Found no evidence in that area.
