Dennis, I am Kerry Cale and I haven't heard any of the Cales that you have mentioned, however, that doesn't mean much in the ancestor search biz, does it. HA HA
I have a book, published in 1973 by Janice Cale Sisler, on the Christopher Cale family of Preston County, W.Va.
In the background part of the book, she says many of the Cales from around the US trace their ancestry to England or Ireland as early as mid-1600's. All accounts of our Cale family give our ancestry as German, with roots in the Rhine River Valley. There is a deed signature of Christian Kahl in 1795.
I know that this might not help you in your search, but , it might help someone else that is looking for information on the German branch of the Cale family.
Kerry and Debra Cale
Atwater, Ca.
