I'm new to this list, with research in what is a new direction for me.

I am looking for more information on Winifred WILLIFORD, who appears
as a single mother of four in 1880, age 49, Mitchells township,
Bertie Co.
With her are

Judson 30
Jas. B. 22
Sallie A. 18
Joseph 14

In 1850, Winifred was 20 and was living in a household headed by
Benjamin Williams age 35, whose wife is Jennet age 30. Following
Winifred's name in the household are Sarah Williford 17, Nancy 15,
John W. 13, Richard 11, and William 1/12. My guess is that Sarah,
Nancy, John and Richard are her sibilings, and William is her son,
who appears as William J. in 1870 and Judson in 1880.

Do any of these names look familiar to anyone?
