other Shadgett) in the book "Bertie Marriages, 1762-1868".

would you kindly provide me with further details concerning the marriage on
January 16 1845 of Charles Shadgett, saddler, of Windsor, to Sarah Elizabeth
known also as Sally nee? She was born in 1826 so presumably parental consent
would have been required. Charles was born in 1809 in Linton, Kent, England.

I am a historian in Australia, writing about Charles sister and brothers who
were early immigrants to South Australia [1830s/1840s]. I am just about to
print my publication and would like to include this further information to
what little I have about the Shadgett sibling who went to North America
rather than Australia!

By the way, I am aware of 2 refs to Charles Shadgett, and to Sally and
Charles Shadgett, in Bertie Co Deed Books GG and HH, 1845 and 1848,
respectively.

Should you require further detail, please advise.
