Dear Group,

This is a great subject! Does anyone recognize these two doctors?

Dr. Blount PEARCE orphan of Morning PEARCE Decin acct. with
Jno A. CAUDLE gard. Cr. about 1818

This Dr. Blount PEARCE born about 1792 would be son of Thomas PEARCE who
died in Bertie 1798. Thomas PEARCE and Morning SPIVEY BRYAN had two sons
Blount born about 1792 and William PEARCE born about 1793. (The above
Thomas may have been married before. He had Morning were married in 1791.)

Morning died 1807 and left her estate to these two sons and one daughter
Charity BRYAN (I believe her father was James MOORE, will mentioned her in
1790). Morning's estate was handled by CAUDLE.

Also, do you know Dr. Joseph B. SPIVEY of Bertie? He has been found
handling an estate account for William B. SPIVEY in 1838 in Bertie. William
B. SPIVEY is brother to Morning.

And I believe reading about a Dr. Joseph BRYAN in the 1830's time frame.

Maybe someone has some History on these Bertie Doctor names??? I would love
to learn more about them.
