Ross Baptist Church will be celebrating their 200th anniversary on the
26th of September, the last Sunday in the month. Old friends and family
as well as descendants from families that came from Ross are more than
welcome. Don't bring any food, it will be catered. Ross is where almost
all of my family came from, the
Hughes-Hughs-Hues-Cowand-Cowan-Castellow-Hoggard-Cale-Harrison-Baker-Miz
elle-White and many others. Ross would like to invite any who are
interested to attend this grand ole event. The service starts at 10:00
and will last until about 12:00 with former pastors speaking. The meal
will be served afterwards. Ross Church and community have a very rich
history and strong connections in Bertie County.
