If you're new to this Bertie List, you may not know of the historian,
Harry Thompson, who has worked so many years in preserving the history of
Bertie County and its people. He's published a number of books previously,
and this one sounds like an excellent one if your family lived in Bertie
during the Civil War.

BERTIE AT WAR (Era of Civil War)
The book is back from the printers. This one is 150 pages long with some
photos, and the Confederate Monument on front. Price (tho larger) is only
12.00 plus 1.50 for mailing.
