Please tell me about this possible new clue. Was it ever proven which
initial belonged to which parent of Samuel Jenkins Taylor? On one of
Samuel's marriage certificates, his parents are given simply as S. and A.
Taylor.

Still looking for parents of Samuel Jenkins Taylor, b. 1823 in Robeson
County, NC. Possible new clue. Samuel's father may have been Sachariah or
Zachariah Taylor, who came to NC from VA in the late 1700s or early 1800s.
Samuel's father may have been a Methodist minister. Ring any bells?
