Hi, I am ready to start buying books to find my elusive ancestor. I suppose I will need books from North and South Carolina. I am searching(stillafter all these years) for Cornelius WINGATE and his ancestors. I have him as born in 1804 S.C. wife unknown from Ireland. I think I have searched every nook and cranny of the internet, home pages etc on the internet. I have not been able to find a trace of him. I am in hopes of finding something somewhere in books or records which have been published. I have noted Brent Holcomb has many books on early records. does anyone know if he has a site I can access to decide which books may help me? Carlene in Texas
