Hi listers,
Just to update--------August 14
Have added:
Some more "Partial" Cemeteries. (If you have even just one burial in a
cemetery, send it in,
if you have headstone pics........please share them.)
The 1880 census is being Transcribed by Bill Furr..........Township #6
Faggerts is on line. It may take a little for it to load, as it is a big file.
Bethel Church is coming in the next day or so, and will be in more than one
page, so will be easier to load. This is a very large project,
and Bill's work is greatly appreciated.
Have posted the 1884 Business Directory --- it is in 2 parts, and as usual I
have posted the church, school, and city and county officials to their
respective pages. So be sure and check them out.
The 1805 - 1806 Marriage Bonds are now up. Will be working on 1807-??? this
week.
Alice Stewart has submitted pictures of some early African American Schools
in Cabarrus Co.......Thanks Alice.
There are also a couple of new pictures in the photo album.
The site is coming right along.........and is being visited quite a bit.
For those of you who haven't been to the site see the addy in my signature.
If you haven't submitted the surnames you are researching in CC, send them
to me and I will get them listed.
Thanks Everyone,
Sharon
