Subject: TAYLOR/BRITE IN NC

I am searching for the parents of Martha Brite in Camden County, NC as
early as 1779 and as late as her death in 1825.
In 1779, there is a Deed of Sale from WILLIAM TAYLOR to Elizabeth
Overton and witnesses were Anson Brite, Martha Brite and Samuel Brite.
It was registered in Camden Co., NC 10 Apr. 1779.
Is it possible that you know of a WILLIAM TAYLOR with a sister or
daughter named MARTHA in that time period? The Taylor and Brite famiies
were neighbors according to land records in Pasquotank Co. NC prior to
1777 when Camden was still a part of Pasquotank. So we're talking
about the same area, but different county names.
Actually, the name of Martha's husband is unknown too, but it seems that
Anson or Samuel might be good possibilties. Martha had at least 2
children, John and Charity. She gave land to son, John in 1796 and in
her will of 1825, mentioned her daughter, Charity Williams, and
grandchildren, Fanny, William and Jane Williams. No husband was
mentioned in either of those documents.
Next, in Camden Co. in 1838, Charity Wiliams gave land (a gift deed) to
her daughter Fanny Sawyer - "lands that Henry Brite bought of EVAN
TAYLOR". So here's another Taylor connection and another possibility
for Martha's husband.
And finally, in Camden Co. in 1848, Fanny sold land (same land?) to
Anson Brite (same as 1779 or later generation?) "her interest in ESDRAS
TAYLOR land". So still another connection to Taylor.
We have another occasion in the family lines where a Willoughty
Salmons/Sammons left Carteret Co. between 1810 and 1820 and moved to
Camden Co., so thought maybe a Taylor could have done the same thing at
an earlier time.
Any help you might be able to give would be greatly appreciated.
