The Rachael Chadwick who married Alexander Stewart was born January 15,
1764. She was the daughter of Thomas Martin Chadwick and Rachael Young.
David H. Brooks' wife was Rachael Young Chadwick, b. 1817 (two years after
David). I suspect that she was the granddaughter of Thomas and Rachael
Young, perhaps the daughter of Martin Chadwick and Nancy Ricaud. Oliver,
son of Thomas Martin Chadwick, also had a daughter named Rachael, but I
have her birth as 1805.

I think got my information on David Brooks' wife from Doyle Leffers (),
who knows a lot about the Brooks line.
