I have been researching my husband's Morris line and have been at a dead end with his ggggfather James Riley Morris (b 9 Mar 1828 Carteret Co.). I have been wondering if he is connected with the Morse line. One possibility is that he is the son of Josiah Morse. In the 1840 Census Josiah is listed with 1 son age 10-15 where James Riley could fit. If anyone has any more information on this line it would be much appreciated.
