Nathaniel Mathenal Lewis was bron Aug. 24, 1901 in Pamlico County, NC and died June 18, 1998 in Carteret County, NC.
He was the son of Christopher Columbus Lewis and Annie Sawyer. Nat (as I knew him) married Lena May Dixon Feb. 4, 1922 in Carteret County. Lena May Dixon was born Dec. 11, 1894 in Jones County and died April 8, 1963 in Wake County. Lena May Dixon was the daughter of John Dixon and Virgina Mace.
