John Allen Gunn, a native of Caswell County, married Laura Ann Atkins of
Caswell. She was born 5 May 1851. The couple moved to Statesville, North
Carolina; and their son Thomas Edwin Gunn returned to Caswell to marry
Effie Lenora Page. If anyone has information on the Atkins family, I would
like to hear from you. I'll happily share descendant information.
