Hi Barbara & list,
Yes, if you take their information and reformat and redo their works you
might get away with it. Why would you want to? A lot of work just to
copy something already done, that you still might get sued over.
Frankly, I have copies of both the books and I disagree with a lot of
their translations/transcriptions.
Plus, I don't know if you all know it or not, but most authors of
genealogical data, put deliberately misleading info in some of the
works, just to catch you in plagiarism.
So, I read the originals and I know what I have is true, not a made up
date or name, that has been inserted.
And also, These two men, still did not get all of the wills between the
two of them..<G>

P.S.
You can certainly use the books as a citation for your source. But, as
they are secondary sources, they would be clues with which, to track and
prove. Not like a primary source of original material.
