Peggy,
I don't know how familiar you are with this area of NC, but just in case you
aren't <g>, you should check the counties of Polk (TN) and FAnnin (GA).
They both join Cherokee and the residents of all three seem to step back and
forth over boundaries, about every other month <BG>. Also, check the
Chapman Ross and the Silar Rolls that are linked in these pages, and check
all the counties.
