Hi Y'all,

The search of my family's history is new to me but I'm enjoying it very much. As you can imagine, I don't have a lot of information here in the beginning of my quest. It's great to have a forum such as this where you can go for help.

If you have *any* information about the folks listed below, I'd appreciate hearing from you. Here's
the info I have, sketchy though it is:

LEDFORD & HOLLOWAY

Myrtle Holloway (b. 11-Feb-1889 in Murphy; d. 6-Nov-1950 in North Georgia). In 1905 she married Willis
Ledford (date & place of birth unknown; believed to have died in Copperhill, TN). The family lived in Copperhill for a time working in the coal mines. Later Myrtle and children settled in Northwest Georgia.

Children: Janey, Lola, Lester "Check", Madie, Mataline, Hydress, Joann.

Myrtle Holloway was born in Murphy, Cherokee County. Her brothers were George, Gilbert, Fate and
John Holloway (b. 21-Mar-1894; d. 28-Jun-1945); there was a cousin named Aaron. Willis Ledford or
Myrtle Holloway may have had a sister called Mae Tex.

This is not very much info, I realize, but I thought someone might recognize this family. Thank you for any help or information you may be able to provide.
