Subject: Chowan Co. Court House.

I wonder if anyone might have any knowledge about the building of the Chowan
County Court House. I am wondering where the bircks came from??? Were they
shipped from England?? Another researcher family stories have lead him to
think that one of his ancestors could have been the captain of a ship from
England that brought bricks for this building. Does anyone have anything
they can share with me about this?
