Hello,
I am also a Copeland/Lasater descendant.

Elizabeth Copeland (1770-1845), dau of James Copeland Jr ( d. 1793) and Elizabeth____,married Hezekiah Lasater (her only husband, contrary to some data found on the internet), son of William Lasater and Kesiah UNKNOWN.
Another son of William and Kesiah, Hardy Lasater, m. Frances "Frankey" Copeland, Elizabeth's sister.
