Geez Valerie, it has just dawned on me that we are actually searching the same family..DUH..I guess the trail has been so cold for so long that when it happened I failed to realize it!

Somewhere and I don't remember (it's proably been two years) I did find a Joseph C Brinn married to a Patience Elliot, but I don't remember where I saw it or the years. Joseph C was for sure on the marriage Bond. I must have been looking through either cemetery records or marriage bonds in NC prior to John and Judy.

My Ggrandfather John Brinn (who we have listed as W.) was born 9/21/1868. He did not keep in touch with his relatives, although my Ggrandmother did reference a HS teacher in VA who was a "Forehand" as a distant cousin to my aunt when she was a child. My John Brinn moved to Norfolk VA sometime after 1899 because my grandmother is listed as being born in Tyner,Chowan NC. Which is where they stayed.

he died in 1926, which I guess is why it is difficult to come up with any family history. With that being said, my ggrandmother lived till 1959, and we don't have anything on her family at all, way less than his!!!! LOL.

Anything you have would be helpful. Iwas going to try all the siblings but I guess you have done that already.
