I'm looking for the father of George Raleigh Hobbs (b: 2 Sep 1890 in Chowan) and Mack Daniel Hobbs (b: 15 Jun 1900 in Norfolk). Their mother was Penelope Elizabeth Spivey (b: 1870 in Gates Co), daughter of Allen Spivey and Sarah Jane (Blanchard) Spivey. I haven't found a marriage cert for Penelope and assume she was married in either Chowan or Gates around 1889. Does anyone have a clue as to which of the many Hobbs's might be the father of these 2 boys and husband of Penelope? Thanks.
