I do not have a copy of the Clay County Heritage Book, but I have
information about Barbary Barrett Maney in my file.

Her father was Thomas Barrett. I do not have her mother listed.

She married James Maney Sr. January 29, 1820.

Their children were:
Nancy Maney b Sept 28, 1821 m Lazarus Anderson April 14, 1838 in Yancey Co.,
NC (these are my gggrandparents.

Martin Rufus Maney b January 18, 1831 m Susan B. Sellers and Jane Corn

William Bradley Maney m Margaret Henderson

John Ciscero Maney m Jennie Ann Moss

Francis Pocahontus Maney m Allen Burch

Rebecca Maney m Milton Moss

Sarah Maney b 1840

Silvester Bettis Maney m Louisa Henson

James M. Maney m Elizabeth Ann Owenby

I would like to have any information you may have on the Barrett ancestors.
