Can anyone tell me the parents of HOWSER, Russell B: abt 1856 in South
Carolina, but his family is on 1910 Cleveland County Census for NC??

On the 1910 Cleveland Census Russell HOWSER and family are listed as living in
Kings Mtn., Cleveland Co., NC. On this record, Nancy listed as having 9
children, only 7 were listed.

The following is the census record as best I can read the microfilm.

My mother says that this family is descended from the Henry Howser of HOWSER
HOUSE on the property of the Kings Mountain National Battlefield Park, but I
have not been able to connect to Henry. She has an old newspaper clipping
about the Howser House in her bible and a postcard with a picture of the house
on the card.
