Flora McPhail b 1784 NC d 1854-60 Cumberland Co marr 12 May 1811
in Cumberland Co Absolom Snow b 1787 SC d 1850-54 Cumberland Co.
They were the parents of Ann Snow and ,possibly, William Snow who
marr Diannah Jenkins 1831 Robeson Co and Sarah Snow who marr
Charles Jones 1837 (others ?).

I have not found any will or deed linking Flora to parents or
siblings. Oddly, there was an indenture dated 27 Sep 1810
between the heirs of John McPhail: Absalom Snow, Jacob Taylor,
Margaret McPhail and Isabel Blocker to Thomas Chapman for a tract
of land on Haymount, deed registered 24 May 1853.

Isabella McPhail marr Edward Blocker in 1803 and was probably d/o
John, but I cannot find John's connection to the other three
names. Does anyone know?

This indenture was 8 months prior to Flora & Absolom's marriage.
I do not know if there was another relationship between John &
Absolom, or if it was only the impending marriage. Does anyone
know?

Ann Taylor Snow marr Malcom McLean, Dougald McPhail marr
Catherine Taylor d/o Wm Taylor, so there's a McPhail/Taylor/Snow
Connection here somewhere. Does anyone know?

Ann S Snow was the unmarried mother of Thomas James Jordan. A
man of that name was bondsman for the marriage of Sarah Snow to
Charles Jones. (Ann's son was 2 yrs old at time of this
marriage), so there's a Snow/Jordan Connection. Does anyone
know?

I have also been unable to determine the exact dates for Absolom
& Flora or the location of their burial sites.

My New Year's wish was that all of our brick walls would be
paper-thin, which so far hasn't happened to me - can anyone help
me with a breakthrough?
