The Broad Neck area of Powells Point is located approximately 3 miles south
of the Powells Point Post office, on the West side of hwy 158. West Side
Lane, Formerly Broad Neck Road, is located on the right, about 200 yards
north of the Powells Point Baptist church, and is the only access road to the
Broad Neck area. According to the book, Currituck County Cemetery
Records, there is one cemetery located there. It is Location #140, "FORBES
CEMETERY" and according to the book, it is located .5 miles down West Side
Lane. It is not visible from the road and the book does not list any
Padricks being buried anywhere in the county. The Broad Neck area is now
very heavily wooded. Sorry, but I have never heard of a Panter Creek.
