Does anyone know the maiden name of Richard LOFLIN'S wife, Mary? I first
located Richard in Rowan Co., NC where he and his good friend and neighbor
refused to take the oath of Allegiance in 1778. He lived in the area that
in 1822 became Davidson Co., NC. Richard LOFLIN'S family as follows:
John LOFLIN b. ca. 1775 m. Nancy Hall, 30 Jul. 1798; Rebecca LOFLIN b.
11 Sep. 1776 m. Davis HIX; Winafred LOFLIN (aka Winney) b. ca. 1778 m.
Jesse HILL; Mary LOFLIN b. 1780 m. Isaiah HIX (brother to the above Davis
HIX,);Sarah LOFLIN b. ca. 1784 m. Timothy GRIFFIN; Eleazer LOFLIN b. ca.
1788 m. Edith (aka Edney): Susannah LOFLIN b. 1792 m. Solomon FARMER; Cornelius
LOFLIN b. 1790 m. Martha (Patsy) WOOD; and Hannah LOFLIN b. ca. 1794 m.
