Subject: 1751 Johnston Quit Rent List

Guy has just posted the 1751 Johnston Quit Rent List on Wayne County
Archives. Patty will link to Dobbs, Greene and Lenoir soon as she has a
chance. Guy sent me a copy of the original and it is a lot harder to read
than the 1750. The first name is of great interest to me and many other
people in the county and neither of us are sure of the last name. The first
name is Windal and I would be willing to bet he is the father of Catherine
who md James Davis with so many descendants with the first name of Windal.
If anyone ever runs across the first name of Windal, please let me know.
last name could be a variation of Collier or start with a P which is my guess.
