If you attended the last D-OGS computer SIG meeting you will recall we
discussed taking facts from someone's autobiography and entering them into
various software programs. We referred to Bill Mumford's "Genealogical
Software Report Card" as a way to see some of the programs' offerings in
comparison to one another. He talks about free downloads, mini tutorials,
and other interesting things.

This week Richard Eastman's Genealogy Newsletter talks about that site and
other related topics. If you don't subscribe and would like me to forward it
to you, let me know, I'll be happy to send it along.
