Dear Fellow D-OGS,
At last night's meeting, I tried to let folks know about this
trip but got half of the details wrong ...

Since I also belong to the Wake County Gen. Society, I received
the following email about a trip to Ireland sponsored by Carteret
County Historical Society. The DEADLINE for reservations is DEC 7 !!
I could not tell from the email whether they are planning time for
research in the libraries and repositories. I was incorrect in
referring to the sponsor as a "genealogical" society... but actually
their "historical" society. I would hope that means that this trip
would be more than the typical bus tour for tourists.

I did a Google search and found a webpage for the "Carteret County
Historical & Genealogical Society" at http://www.rootsweb.com/~nccchs/

If anyone is interested and gets more information about this,
please share with this list.
