These are notes from the Will of my gg-gf, WILLIAM LAMB b ca 1783 New
Hanover Co, NC; d 1862 Milltown, Berrien Co, GA. (My line is from WILLIAM
LAMB 1783 & his 2nd wife, MARGARET (CARROLL) 1799, dau of JOHN CARROLL & his
1st wife, ELIZABETH (HOLLINGSWORTH.)

AARON M. LAMB } ch by 1st wife

son, JOHN C. LAMB Land lot No. 446 in the 10th district of Berrien
Co...also, Negro man, CATO, ca 28 yrs old, Negro girl, SENAH, about 6 yrs
old
& horse mule named Ball.

dau, ELIZABETH JANE McDONALD, wife of DOUGALD P. Mc DONALD 150 acres, being
part of Land lot No. 445 in the Tenth District of Berrien Co [laid out & set
forth in deed from JOHN LEE to WM], Negro man HANDY ca 22 yrs old & Negro
girl MARY JANE about 17 yrs old.

son, WILLIAM JOSEPH LAMB, portion of Land lot 476, also Negro boy LEM about
29 yrs old & Negro woman MENERVIA about 29 yrs old.

grandson, JOHN ALEXANDER McDONALD [only child of dau ANN JUDSON [LAMB]
McDONALD & wife of DANIEL B. McDONALD - Negro boy OWEN about 20 yrs old,
Negro woman NELLA about 17 & Negro child MARIA about 1 yr old [ his JOHN
ALEXANDER McDONALD's father] "DANIEL B. McDONALD to control & manage said
property...to best ad-vantage benefit of & used to said ALEXANDER."

son, EDWIN JULIUS LAMB, my home place - being all of Lot No. 476 except
parts already disposed of..my old Negro man HANDY about 50 yrs old, Negro
boy
ALLEN about 11 yrs & Negro girl HANNAH..horse mule Dick & bureau & trunk
exclu sive of contents.

granddaughter, LILLIAN LAMB, my Negro child MARY, her father JOHN C. LAMB
managing & controlling to the best advantage, benefit & use of LILLIAN LAMB,
his dau.

my two sons, WILLIAM JOSEPH & EDWIN JULIUS LAMB, bequeathe jointly Lot No.
447.

"...all my property not already disposed of be exposed to public sale &
proceeds thereof equally divided between my following ch to-wit: my son JOHN
C. LAMB, my dau ELIZABETH JANE McDONALD, wife of DOUGALD McDONALD, my son
WILLIAM JOSEPH LAMB & my son EDWIN JULIUS LAMB.

..hereby constitute & appoint my son JOHN C. LAMB & DOUGALD P. McDONALD
executors to this my last will & testament.
This the eighth day of May, 1861.
