Betty,
Something occurred to me as I read your e-mail. These Lists, especially
Bladen, Duplin and Cumberland, seem to be a network of friendly (even
loving) people with their hands outstretched to help anyone across a stream.
Each tries very hard to "hand you off" to someone else who might also help
you. Jerome is my most used hand-off and he never fails to come through.
The talented Listowners on these three Lists are unusual in that they keep
very low profiles unless needed and only then do they interject with a voice
of reason. The authors and compilers of all these invaluable books are
incredibly generous with their permissions, - more outstretched hands.
Luckily for us all there are many.
