The jurors who laid off dower lands for Elizabeth EZZELL after the death of Dennis were: Sheriff John D. ABERNATHY; James B. MONK; Nicholas P. MATHIS; George W. LAMB; Isham SHUFFIELD; James CHAMBERS; Mordica SWINSON; Gavin L. CHESNUTT; David SLOAN; Halsted BOURDEN; John D. CARROLL; James G. STOKES and Jacob WELLS, Sr.

These data are taken from the original estates papers of Dennis EZZELL who died Duplin County 1855 and may be obtained from the NC State Archives using the following citation:
