There are two Dunkin's listed on pages 65 and 66 of Roster of the Patriots
in the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge as follows:
Dunkin, Edmund
Edmund Dunkin, of Duplin County, served under Capt. William Taylor
and Col. James Kenan. Since according to Caswell, Kenan participated in
the battle of Moores Creek Bridge, Dunkin was possibly in the encounter.
Dunkin, William
William Dunkin, of Duplin County, served under Capt. William

the encounter.
