Listmembers, to where did Abraham BELL move after the below item was
executed? Sampson County had been cut out of Duplin 1784. Was Abraham cut
into Sampson? Where was his land located?

Wm. (William) Kenan, admr. of his father Felix Kenan, Esqr., dec'd, late
shff. of Duplin Co., to Jesse Brown, planter of Duplin Co., 17 Jan 1786, 12
pds. for 100 A. The sd. Felix Kenan by virtue of a recovery & judgement in
the Inferior Court of Duplin Co. against James Moore late of Duplin Co., did
issue an execution for the afsd. sum of 12 pds. for the cost of a suit
brought by **Archibald Bell, then of Duplin Co. The sd. Felix Kenan by
virtue of the execution did levy the same on a tract of land patented by
John Brown on the NE side of Muddy Creek cont. 100A, beg. on the corner at
the sd. creek, which sd. land is between the land now John Woodward's & John
Magee's & the afsd. Jesse Brown purchased the same for the debt & cost afsd.
of the sd. Felix Kenan.
