Hi Fran,
I found tar landing on my Duplin CO Map.
It is located on hwy 24 going E out of Kennansville.
Here is the desciption of where it is.
T.3 x 18 E side of Cape Fear River
T.5 x 18.8 W side of Cape Fear River near Hallsville.
There is a Bulls Bluff right below it and this might be the bluff that is
mentioned in the deed. Hallsville is located a little S W of this landing.
