I show a Daniel West Sr., and Jr. along with a brother J.T. West.
The information I have is:
1821-1903 Daniel West Sr. married Elizabeth Jane Ezzell born 1819 (The
Ezzell is my connection).
Daniel West Jr. born 1859. Unfortunately, this is about all the info I
have; nothing on the lands. I wonder if they lived near the Ezzells (Reuben
Ezell and Sara Rackley Ezzell) & could be tracked thru the census'?
From the book"David Quinn Family" by Ann Brooks Kendall I find that Mary E.
West's father, Daniel West, deeded to her 60 acres of land on the waters of
Stewarts Creek. On Feb 5, 1872, Daniel deeded some land to Joshua West in trust
for Emma F. Frederick & Jasper C. Frederick, monor children of Mary E.
Frederick, deceased. Refers to Deed Bk 28, page 722, Book 26, page 771, Book 47,
page 136 & Duplin Co. Court Records, NC archives.
Book mentions James Nortwood Wests, but no land mentioned.
