Died in New Hanover county on the 19th of February, 1866, Mrs. Elizabeth H. Tate, in the 84th year of her age. She was the daughter of Isaac and Priscilla Hunter and consort of Rev. Robert Tate. Wilmington Daily Journal, Wednesday, 7 Mar 1866, Daily Dispatch, Tuesday, 6 Mar 1866.

Died Rev. Robert Tate, one of the oldest Presbyterian preachers in this state, died recently at the residence of his son in New Hanover county. He was 94 years of age. Wilmington Daily Dispatch, Saturday, 27 Oct 1866.
