I have a early deed with my John BLANTON SR. buying land from a WATSON in
Duplin CO NC.
John is the progenitor of the BLANTONS of Duplin CO.
Check out the time-line for John on my site.

I wish somebody with conclusive info would chime in and set it aright for
us. Again, I am very interested in the Reddick Watson who came down to
Thomas County GA from Duplin during the "Great Migration" (I don't know what
else to call it) simply because of marriages a couple of his children made
while in Thomas County. Do let us know how this eventually shakes out.
Happy (and successful) hunting!
