Am interested in any info on Joseph FALCONER/FAULKNER, b. c. 1812, Granville
Co., NC, d. c. 1877, Franklin Co., NC. Married Lucy Ann Mangum (daughter of
Pleasant Mangum and Amy Loyd) 12 Oct 1837 in Granville Co., NC.
Children of Joseph FALCONER and Lucy MANGUM are: Emily, Martha, Eliza,
William Henry Harrison, John G. (my great grandfather), Geneval, George W.,
Fletcher, Lorenza Dowd, and Mary Elizabeth. Several served in the Confederate
services.
My great grandfather, John G. FAULKNER, was born in 1842. He married Marilla
Wright. She was a widow w/3 children. They also had: George M., John N.,
Carrie L., Ollie Taylor (my grandfather), and Joe V.
More details can be given from Joseph down, but searching beyond for his
parents, etc., has been impossible...so far.
Any help would be appreciated.
