Thanks for all the questions about the forthcoming
Heritage of Franklin Co., NC 2007 !

At our workshop on Feb. 15th, we were able to share
much more details about preparing family and other
articles for the new book.

Several folk who could not attend the workshop have
asked about word count. Lets clarify:
Story heading, sources, and caption (10 words or less)
do not apply to the total word count. Neither do the
index names! We count only the body of your article.
We respectfully ask that no one abuse this process
with the use of extra long headings or source lists,
etc.

In Warren and Granville Counties, proceeds from their
Heritage books were given to local Libraries and other
non-profit preservation endeavors. We anticipate the
same for Franklin County!

Finally, a reminder that March 15 is fast approaching!
