Mary "Polly" NUNN married William AIKEN in 1797. She was a daughter of James
(sometimes referred to as Dennis) NUNN and Lucy, who might have been a
CLAYTON. James died before 1792, and Lucy remarried.

I have not been able to identify the parents of James NUNN.

I have not been able to identify the parents of Lucy, but in 1804 Betsey
Hoofman and her husband, Benjamin, gave to William Byars and his wife Lucy (mother
of said Betsey) all their rights in the estate of Thomas Clayton, grandfather
of Betsey Hoofman, and also all their rights in the estate of James Nunn,
father of Betsey Hoofman.

Any help will be much appreciated.
