Perhaps someone in Granville Co. will post if they know whether there has been a book done of
established Granville Co. cemeteries. I honestly do not know. However, one of the things that
creates problems when searching for early cemeteries in a rural area is that many were buried in
small designated plots on the family farm. Some of these plots are still recognizable if they were
securely fenced but many have since been plowed over or built over and can never be located. I know
that one set of my maternal gr-grandparents resting place can not be located for that very reason.
Hopefully that is not the case with your family.
