Trish,

I do need a good chuckle every once in awhile. For some reason I was fixed
on marriage on the 8th and died on the 11th - not the other way around. He
would have indeed married a corpse which would have been frowned on.

We need someone to take a look at the original Bible which is in Wilson as
I understand it - must have been a mistake in all of the transcriptions
floating around - or several mistakes.

In addition the 1860 Census needs to be checked to see if Henry was still
alive. Maybe he did move to Duplin Co - kind of strange none of these
people are on the cemetery lists. The question still remains - who was the
mother of all these children? ANd how many wives did old Henry have?

Oh this is good - from Ima's notes, Abraham Swinson son of Henry and BERCHY
married Martha Taylor and two of their children married into the
Mewborn/Hardy family. I don't think that is right. Abraham was the son of
one of the Darden girls.

Thanks for straightening me out.

Martha
