It's me again <grin>
I have added 6 files to the site dealing with the Revolutionary War in the
Southern Department. They are:
-Proclamation by Lord Cornwallis after "...compleat victory obtained over the
Rebel forces..." at Guilford Court House. This proclamation is the one
referred to by Greene in his letter to the President of Congress dated 3/30
as "rediculous [sic]"
-Greene's report on the Battle of Hobkirk's Hill outside Camden, SC
-A letter from Robert Stark regarding his treatment by the British while a
POW
-A Proclamation by Greene promising retribution for any further acts of
violence against American prisoners.
-Greene's report on the Battle of Eutaw Springs Note: I ran out of time at
the Archives yesterday so I had to photocopy the last 5 pages, thus some
areas that were too light to make out on the copies are indicated with [?] in
the transcript. I should be able to get there this week and get that totally
proofed.
-List of killed & wounded officers at Eutaw Springs

Click on the Link, Revolutionary War Reports & Letters of the Southern
Department. The NEW files are so indicated.
Paul Sarret has put together a good web site on this period in American
history which can be found at:

Enjoy your Memorial Day Week-end, but don't forget those who sacrificed in
order that we may enjoy our Liberty!
Billy
P.S. As usual, feel free to forward this to anyone you feel who would be
interested.
