Michael and Jeannie, does either of you know the parents of Elizabeth BROWN who md. James McMurray and/or what section of Guilford County, NC they resided? I am a BROWN researcher and have just learned of a Wm. & Margaret BROWN who probably lived in the present day area between Abbott's Creek and Providence Twp. in Rand. Co. from James Brown KLEIN's research. My own BROWN line appears to have been in the Kimesville area of southeastern Guilford Co., NC and northeastern Randolph Co., NC. That area seems to have been mostly a German settlement with KIME, COBLE, SHEPERD, GLASS and many other apparent German surnames. Appreciate any insight you might have about your BROWN line.
