Hi Randi,

I was just in the cemetery where Archibald Beville was buried. (Center United Methodist Church in Summerfield, NC). Anyway, I saw the same census record, and to my way of thinking, I would bet that Philip was his brother. And that Dicy, who lived with Archibald was their mother, as all three of them were born in Virginia. (I'm not related. I'm just a history and genealogy addict, and can't seem to stay out of old graveyards.) I don't know if there is any way to prove any of that, unless someone could come up with a will that might show more. Just thought I would comment on that, as I was interested myself.
